Rotary slitting assembly upgrade for the bench top range of slitting and die cutting range

The Daco DTD250 tabletop rotary die cutter was introduced to the product range in September 2002 and the Daco DT250 slitter rewinder in January 2002. The machines have proved very successful, with ease of use, high production speeds and virtually maintenance-free. However, we at Daco Solutions listen to our clients and several clients mentioned that job changeover times could be reduced significantly if the slitting knives were easier to set.

We found the biggest problem was that it could be challenging to adjust the knives accurately the first time because of restricted access to the knife holder. To overcome this problem, all machines from March 2006 will be supplied with a fully removable interlocked safety guard. This will allow full access to both the anvils and rotary slitting knives. This solution will enable clients to reduce setup times and wasted product during job changeovers significantly.
