Successful installation of A4 Labels 2nd Daco D350S Sheet Label Converter
Exactly 2 years after delivery of their first Daco D350S, A4 Labels now have their 2nd machine commissioned and it’s already converting a lot of labels.
A4 Labels have been selling their labels since 2009 but in 2018 they took control of their own supply chain by investing in machinery that enabled them to make all their product at their Fishergate’s premises in West Sussex.
At this time, A4 Labels also sought relationships with other label retailers and have since become a reliable supplier of sheet labels to the trade for resale.
Managing Director, Colin Hawker commented “As a trade buyer of A4 Labels for the best part of a decade, we understood exactly what label resellers need. Namely an excellent quality product, at a competitive price, but as importantly, they needed speed. At our warehouse, we hold over 500 lines of stocked size/material combinations and this means we can offer a next day service. This promise even includes full pallets if ordered by noon. To ensure we could keep this promise going forward, we needed the extra capacity that a second machine would offer, and after a trouble free 2 years with our first D350S and over 12 million linear meters converted, there was never a question that our second machine would also be supplied by Daco Solutions”
Mr Hawker went on to explain that the new machine has enabled them to expand their range by offering SRA3 Labels, the format sought by the print industry. He went on to say “By offering SRA3 labels we are able to unlock clients in markets we have not worked with before. We thoroughly researched the market before committing to producing SRA3 label and are confident that we now have an excellent range on quality materials at unbeatable prices. As with our A4 sheets, we expect to dispatch most of our SRA3 orders within 24 hours, even when we have to make them to order.”
