Daco PLR350V 100% Inspection Rewinder
The PLR-V was developed after years of manufacturing traditional inspection/slitter rewinders. With the addition of a three-spindle turret rewinder and a vision system, the machine inspects and rewinds labels both quickly and efficiently.
Benefits
The Daco PLR350V inspection rewinder with a three-spindle semi-automatic turret rewinder further increases productivity compared to traditional inspection rewinders.
Unlike traditional inspection slitter rewinders, where the machine is stopped for a considerable time while operators cut and re-apply the web to the cores, the PLR350V is only stopped for a few seconds whilst the turret indexes. New cores are applied to the rewind shaft while the machine is in production, and the turret automatically cuts and applies the web to the new cores.
With the addition of a vision system, labels can be inspected by the camera, defective labels can be removed, and optionally an accumulator can be added so that reinspection can be performed by passing the replaced label(s) back under the camera to give true a 100% inspection rewinder and inspection of all labels.

Unwind

- The user can program the roll end diameter – slowdown and / or stop. The system does not use any roll followers or external sensors that can be damaged at roll changes. The diameter is programmed from the touch screen operator interface.
- Web up – the operator from the touch screen operator interface, release the unwind brake to allow for simple webbing up of the machine.
